How do you get by the damn cat? I just got it last night, and I think there's something to do with the plant on screen 14, but I can't tell. Mike Lewis trump@leland.stanford.edu

That darn cat! You may notice that the cat swats at you when you try for the window. A quick lad might pull back just in time to avoid the swat (it's possible). And an even quicker lad might then, having just backed away from the swat, make a dive for the window. If that cat should happen to have a 'refractory' period between swats a lad might just make it! Now, having given strong hints, it still ain't easy - usually luck and keyboard banging that gets you through. I'll take the opportunity to mention that Glider+ 3.1.1 was uploaded to America Online last week. It works with Sytem 6.07 and System 7 as well as centers properly on large monitors. A few other minor fixes as well. So if you have a large monitor and got sick of craning your neck or used the newer systems and had crashes, you might look for it. john calhoun Soft Dorothy
