Does anyone have a listing of popular/most frequently used radio frequencies used by railroads, or if they're are different for each railroad, how about a listing of a few in various regions? Also what source can be used to obtain particular frequencies of particular train lines? Thanks in advance. -- Pat M. Southern Pacific 161.55 Mhz Main Road Channel (The one used by train<->dispatcher and train-train communication ) 160.95 PBX 1 (Radiotelephone repeater freq used by track crews and executive types to talk to dispatchers and others) 160.89 PBX 2 ( same thing.. The main PBX frequency used around Southern California) 160.400 (or 161.400?) Railroad Police and track gang Union Pacific 160.74 Main Road Channel (and yard channel used in Oakland) Santa Fe 160.65 Mhz Main Road Channel (systemwide)
