[comp.sys.mac.games] Fool's Errand

OK, ok, I've pulled out enough hair over this. Can someone please give me some
help with the Chapel puzzle? Also, any hints on easy ways to solve the "Press
the buttons in the correct order" puzzles. These are almost the only puzzles
keeping me from finishing the map!

Hello,

I once played an adorable game on the original Mac called
"CHIPWITS"... I thought it was great, especially their
symbolic programming language....

My question : Does anyone have this on the mac or on the
Commodore ? I try to call Epyx about it but the telephone
number did not exist anymore....

Mail to laba-3eh@web.berkeley.edu puleeeez.

Ok, I'll try again with this. The Chapel puzzle is the one with an old man and
a boy in front of a house of some kind, and the background is covered with
letters in all styles, sizes, and patterns. There is a three letter word that
must be discovered from the "clues" in this picture. Sorry for not being more
specific the first time!

Hello. I'm looking for help with Fool's Errand.

I can solve all of the word puzzles and such, but the ones I am having trouble
with are Death and the Three Ships, where you have to punch the white button
either without getting hit by the black button or you have to catch the
white button while it hops around the screen. Can anyone give me any hints
or clues on how to solve these? They seem impossible.

Thanks,
Jen (raven@pawl.rpi.edu)

For Death, you have to use the white bar at the top of the screen. For
the three ships, you must invoke the compas points.

I need help on two puzzles, namely "The couple" and "Justice".
"The couple" is the one that has a picture of the fool looking
at three dancing ladies and you are supposed to fill in letters
to make up 3 words. "Justice" is a mystery to me, the hint in the
puzzle says "A secret hides here if twenty-five appear."
Any hints/help will be greatly appreciated. I don't mind straight
answers to the above puzzles too. To be honest, I getting a wee bit
impatient and bored. Thanks!!

Regards,
- Huay-Yong
