I tried using Desktop Manager Init, but when I use it, I cannot unlock a floppy: 1. Insert locked floppy into drive, locked directory appears on desktop. 2. Floppy shows as locked by lock icon (I think due to Silverlining) Also, I cannnot delete a file. 3. Command E to eject disk, or drag to trash (either.) 4. Unlock disk and reinsert. 5. Floppy still shows as locked by lock icon, and I still cannnot delete a file. No matter what I do, I cannot convince the system that the disk is unlocked. Can someone help me? Is my Desktop Init too old? Thanks for any help! Configuration: Desktop Init 2.0.1 from AppleShare File Server 2.01 15886 bytes July 11, 88 Mac SE, Sys 6.0.4, Silverlining on Quantum P105S Inits: Desktop Init, GateKeeper, G. Aid, Fascade, After Dark, ATM, Boomerang and more I cannot remember. ____________________________________________________________________________ * John Babcock att!occrsh!jdsb * AT&T Network Systems jdsb@occrsh.att.com * Oklahoma City, OK Disclaimer: I speak on my own, not as AT&T.
