Hi, I'm running system 6.0.4, and I have a DA called hierDA in my System Folder. When using the finder to start Word 4.0, I get a System Error 01 message. When using multifinder, this doesn't happen. In the finder, without hierDA, Word runs fine. I have hierDA 0.9961, and many other inits which don't seem to be related to this problem. If this makes any sense to anyone, please explain it to me. I can't tell you exactly what is wrong but I CAN tell you that you don't have the latest version of hierDA. I am currently using version .9984 or .9986 I don't remember which. Winston
