Due to insurance problems, lots of trips around the country are in danger of cancellation. The only schedules that seem safe at this point are those trips on the Norfolk Southern. The Orrville to Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh to Altoona trips on Conrail are definitely gone, though it isn't clear if anything else will be able to run on Conrail later in the month (the Buffalo people still say that the Corning trips will run.) The 765 trips on the P&LE from Youngstown to Pittsburgh are expected to run. I've heard that the C&NW has cancelled its excursion program for the year. One bright spot: the Orrville people were able to schedule a pair of trips on the N&W from Brewster to Pittsburgh (on the P&WV) for July 12 and 13. They expect to also get approval to run Brewster to CONNELLSVILLE on the 19th. Also still scheduled as of now: June 21, St. Louis to Cape Girardeau and Sikeston, MO on the Frisco river line.
