My system 6.0.2 MacroMaker worked just fine. I upgraded to 6.0.5 today, and the new version just dies when I open it. I can click at it for a while and sometimes I manage to close it, but then it shows "M" instead of the recorder icon in the menu bar. I've seen this "M" on some other macintoshes which have recently been upgraded, so what is going on? I have a Mac II with 2Mb of RAM and several INITS (SUitcase etc.). As I said, the same setup worked just fine with 6.0.2 this morning. Josip Loncaric <josip@ra.src.umd.edu> -- Josip Loncaric / SRC / U. of Maryland, College Park, MD 20745

I'm using the version of MacroMaker that came with 6.0.5 on a 2-meg 512KE; I've 28 other inits and cdevs, and it gets along fine with them. Only two exceptions: the Tetris DA nukes MacroMaker, and the two machines I've installed Word 4.0B on killed MacroMaker the first time, but only the first time, it ran. Both my Mac at work and here at home use 6.0.5. I have put a space before MacroMaker's name so that it loads early in the process -- fifth, in my case. You might try changing the loading order.
