Here at Rutgers we have Macintoshes that are networked into Appletalk networks, and are also hooked into our UNIX machines, so that we could use the UNIX storage as Macintosh file servers. However, the Macs that we have to use only have one 800K drive in them, and with the Appletalk files and the LaserWriter drives and assorted system D/As, there is very little room left on the disk for fonts and other D/As and inits. Is there a D/A that I could add to the disk to add fonts to the system after the system is booted (i.e. add fonts to the system that are *not* in the system file)? It would be nice to be able to store fonts on my Apple UNIX File Server volume and to load them into the system after it is booted, because I would like to use more fonts then could fit on my 800K system disk. I know there is a similar D/A for the Apple IIgs called Font Loader, which I would assume got its start in the Macintosh world. As I do not usually read this group, I would appreciate responses via email. Thanks in advance, Dave -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ David Pirmann pirmann@rutgers.edu Rutgers University LCSR Operations
