Hey, anybody have an idea? I loaded a folder (Kaleidagraph curve fits to be exact) onto another machine via copy from a 45mb syquest drive. When I go to open the folder on the destination drive, I get an infinite watch. Why does this happen? It happens to other folders as well. Procedure... Connect syquest to Mac (SE/Mac II/Mac IIci) can happen to any mac... Boot Mac Drag item from syquest to hard drive icon on destination mac Double-click on new folder and then whammo! This problem is intermitent. However, when setting up the lab with this procedure, every mac I loaded Curve fits folder on would go into infinite watch. Opening the folder on syquest did not produce the same results. Looks good on syquest, bad on destination mac. Good one, huh? Any email response would be appreciated.
