Use of an illegal gun in the act of a felony is often given a harder sentence than the felony itself might get. Sort of a double jeapardy operation. Frank Webb The unruffled sage This kind of legal activity is not double jeopardy at all. "Double jeopardy" is where an individual is prosecuted twice for the same offense.
