[comp.sys.mac.system] Microsoft mouse driver available for Macintosh?

Currently we are trying to connect an infrared trackerball (Trackermouse
plus) to our Macintosh II. The trackerball was originally intended for 
MS DOS systems (Apricot if I remember well) and is Microsoftmouse compatible.
My questions: Are there any mousedrivers for the Micosoftmouse for Macintosh
available?  If not, does anybody have some experience with writing mouse
drivers themselves??
