Yes, I know, I can get it through APDA, but this is a painfully slow process over here, and I'd rather like to have it RSN. NO.
KanjiTalk is copyrighted by Apple Japan. Apple Japan is not Apple
Cupertino.
Let's suppose you are in Japan. if you don't have any version of
KanjiTalk already, you must pay 70000-yen ( about $466 ) to Apple
Japan for getting KanjiTalk 6.0.4. If you have old KanjiTalk, you
must pay 7000-yen ( about $46 ) for update fee.
Vicious Apple Japan hinder for anonymous ftp like the English
versions.
Japanese user feel angry about what Apple Japan do.
But I don't how to get KanjiTalk through APDA and how much to get it
in Ammerica.
P.S.
I paid 7000-yen for getting KanjiTalk 6.0.4. ;-)

I think so ! (I don't believe in A.J. :-) > But I don't how to get KanjiTalk through APDA and how much to get it > in Ammerica. I have just got new APDAlog (Summer 1990). The price is $70.00 for Kanjitalk 6.0.4 (with 5 font disks and 20pp document) By the way, do you know Kanjitalk is included in the develop CD-ROM ? In the issue 3 of "Developer Essentials CD-ROM", I found: System Software J-6.0.4 (Kanjitalk) (9 Disks) HyperCard J-1.2.5 (4 Disks) KanjiTalk Toolkit (KTEnhancer, fbitEdit, etc) KanjiTalk 6.0 Docs (Release Notes for various versions) # I don't know what A.J aims to do... -- Motoo MASUI IIAS-SIS (International Institute for Advanced Study of Social Information Science) FUJITSU Limited.
