[comp.sys.mac.system] System 6.0.6???

bmug@garnet.berkeley.edu (BMUG) (08/30/90)

I've heard rumblings that System 6.0.6 (along with a bugfix list as
long as your arm) is now in distribution (rumblings were from
CompuServe). However, ol' venerable 6.0.5 is still the one in the
apple.com archives.

How about it? Is it available, and if so, when will it be posted
to the Apple archives?

It's currently in beta test right now, (and 7.0 is ALMOST shipping the beta
version!) and will be released with the new Macs in October. It will be a bug
fix, but will also include sound stuff for the built in recorder (like
Mac Recorder), which is going to be on the new machines.
