I've heard rumblings that System 6.0.6 (along with a bugfix list as
long as your arm) is now in distribution (rumblings were from
CompuServe). However, ol' venerable 6.0.5 is still the one in the
apple.com archives.
How about it? Is it available, and if so, when will it be posted
to the Apple archives?

It's currently in beta test right now, (and 7.0 is ALMOST shipping the beta version!) and will be released with the new Macs in October.
