When I tried this, sure enough, clicking on Macwrite files would launch MS-Word. However, MS-Word refused to read the file and display it. Instead, it simply opened a blank window. Does anyone know why this is? Is there a way to make MS-Word accept the macwrite file, convert it, and display it immediately? Thanks. Don W. My "Toby Frame Buffer Card" does indeed scale to 706*512 or whatever, but then my nearby AM radio goes haywire. I suspect that the Apple Monitor is generating a lot of potentially harmful radiation when the screen is enlarged by MaxApplZoom. Don W. Warning Quite old Virus Utility, probably outdated, but manual tools are nice. Moire Works much better than PD dimmer with certain nasty programs (RR9.4). I'd rather be using the color Dimmer if it didn't cost $$$. SuperClock! Much better clock than in Moire MaxApplZoom But the larger screen interferes with my radio reception P Key (Programmer's Key, Command-Shift-POWER/ON -> reboot) ------------------------ My favorite FKEYs ------------------------ C-S-9 Switch-a-roo C-S-8 Blast Key (blows holes in windows) I have not found a good color screen-capture FKEY ------------------------ My favorite DAs -------------------------- Backdown (background downloader) Keyfinder A much better way to present the mac character set. types the character in for you, too (sometimes....) Scrapbook (a push/pop/roll clipboard would be nicer). Stars1.8 (But doesn't work well with moire; kinda buggy) Don W. Gillies, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Illinois 1304 W.
