I would like to hear from anyone who has taken a trip by sleeper
car on a train as to the pros and cons. I would like to know
how comfortable of a trip it was, how many people were in the
sleeper car, and what type of sleeper car it was.

Please respond by e-mail and I will post any replies I receive.

Several years ago I rode the Zephyr from Oakland CA to Salt Lake City.
The stretch from Reno to Salt Lake was done at night in a double
roomette. This was old rolling stock (probably built just after WW II)
and I found the ride rather uncomfortable for sleeping, since the train
swayed from side to side pretty vigorously. Keep in mind that this
was old equipment going about 80 mph on trackage used primarily
for freight.
