When I have the About the Finder box up, to check memory usage etc., I often find myself double-clicking on an application icon in this box, and realizing that this does nothing. This has happened so often that I'm convinced this should be a feature - surely it would be very simple to implement. You could then keep About the Finder on the screen at all times, and use it as a sort of application dock (in the style of NeXT). -- Philip Machanick philip@pescadero.stanford.edu
