[comp.sys.mac.system] how to change default fonts

bohus@math.rutgers.edu (Geza Bohus) (10/19/90)

Hi,

I am sure this has been asked a thousand times, but:

How does one change the fonts used in displaying file/folder names
etc.? I have ResEdit and found a resource called FRSV in the System
which looked like a good candidate to change, but it didn't help.
Please email,

Thanks in advance,

gb

FSRV just lists the fonts the F/DA Mover will refuse to delete from the system.
Override it if you want to get rid of Chicago (if you have it in ROM).

To change the names for the Finder only, look in the LAYO 128 resource
in it, or use O'Conner's Layout.
