On which machines (other than the Classic and the IIsi) does Apple recommend running 6.0.6? -- Roger L. Long bytebug@dhw68k.cts.com

As I understand it, Apple doesn't recommend you run 6.0.6 on *anything*. They found a couple of bugs in it (particularly one which could confuse applications trying to use AppleTalk), which are fixed in 6.0.7. 6.0.7 you can run on anything with the Mac Plus or later ROMs, and least one meg of RAM. The old 512 Enhanced has the same ROM as the Mac Plus, so if you've got one of those, with a third-party RAM upgrade to take it to at least a megabyte, you should be able to run 6.0.7 on it just fine. My local Apple "reseller" recommends 6.0.5 over 6.0.7 for anything but the new three machines. Anyone know why? Josh
