My sister (who incidentally does not have USENET access) is considering buying a Macintosh Classic with a small printer (possibly the Kodak Writenow) for use in Europe (Paris). However, she wishes to purchase it in the States, and use it when she returns from Europe next spring. So, my question is, will a Mac Classic purchased in the United States work on European electricity and then again on American electricity when you return to the U.S.? If not, is there a workaround? If so, do we need to purchase anything additional? Also, which portable printers work on European electricity and what do you have to buy in addition to make them work? Your assistance would be much appreciated. Post or e-mail responses. Thanks, Michael Abramowicz Amherst College, Class of 1994
