There was an article a week or two ago about a certain, brand new version of EtherTalk being needed when you've got a II CI and an Apple Internet Router both on the same net. The poster specified that this particular version of EtherTalk had only been available for a very short time, and was the only one that wouldn't misbehave when used on a CI. I need it desperately! I've got a II CI on the same ethernet with a Mac that runs an Internet Router, and whenever I start the CI, the router crashes within 5 or 10 minutes. If I keep the CI turned off, the router will happily run for days on end. The problem is, that Apple Norway, while acknowledging the existence of the problem, does not have the proper version of EtherTalk available. Or, rather, they claim that they do, and they've sent me a floppy, but the EtherTalk file on it is dated June 1989, and it doesn't fix the crash problem. If someone out there who has the proper version could volunteer to prepare a StuffIt archive or something with the files from the proper diskette (I think the system files from the installer diskette in question are needed as well, because of installed resources) and either put it where I can ftp it, ftp it into my system for me, or send it to me as email, I'd be extremely happy! -tih -- Tom Ivar Helbekkmo, NHH, Bergen, Norway.
