[comp.sys.mac.system] 6.0.7 buggy

wirehead@oxy.edu (David J. Harr) (11/30/90)

I don't know how many folks on the net remember this, but back when 6.0.5
came out in April, everyone was asking "Should I upgrade to 6.0.5 if I have
a Mac Plus/SE/II/IIx/IIcx/IIci/SE/30..." At that point in time, we had the
same kind of naysaying from people who repeated, almost as a litany "You
have no need of 6.0.5, saty with 6.0.4, because 6.0.5 is buggy." It is
amusing to me that this time around, the "buggy" system is 6.0.7, and the
"stable" system is 6.0.5. The more things change, the more they stay the
same. I, for one, will continue to upgrade my machine to the latest and
greatest system as quickly as it is physically possible for me to gat access
to it.

The preceding has been another fine product from the fevered brain of
