Have any of you noticed your Ambassador having framing buffer problems
when it is started up after being turned off overnight? The framing
problem shows itself by causing occasional groups of characters to be
turned into large block equals signs. Ann Arbor says that this is due
to misalignment between the buffering within the Ambassador and the
transmission from the host but were quite surprised that I was running
at only 1200 baud and had error detection turned off. In fact, they now
seem somewhat mystified. As the Ambassador warms up, the problems go
away in a couple hours. Anyone else have this problem?
