Is it possible to print gray levels on a LaserWriter II SC? If so, where is there documentation that describes how to do it? - Steve Stein

No laser printer can print grayscale images. Laser printers can only print little black dots, which can be used to print halftone simulations of greyscale images, but cannot be used to print actual greyscale images. As I understand it, Linotronic and other imagesetters have this same property. You'll have to use something like a thermal printer to get actual grayscale output. chaz -- Someone please release me from this trance. clarson@ux.acs.umn.edu AOL:Crowbone
