I'm running 6.0.5, finder 6.1.5, on an SE. Any known problems between MF 6.1b9 and Automac III (version 2.1 as distributed with MS Word 4). Thanks... -- David Dantowitz david@cs.ucla.edu Singing Barbershop when I'm not computing...

Automac III is incompatible with MultiFinder 6.1b9 and will stay that way, since its publisher has bailed out (tired of writing fixes every time Apple changes its system software [whine me a river] and is concentrating on writing vertical-market applications). So Automac III is now an official and permanent orphan (Microsoft tech support does not seem to be aware of that). Since the MacOS is about to undergo a whole load of major changes (including System 7), I would recommend ditching Automac and buying Tempo II or at least QuicKeys 2. Both are stable, work properly most of the time and are major supported products of viable publishers (Affinity in Boulder, CO and CE Software in West Des Moines, IA, respectively).
