Has anyone experimented with or learned about the 'fval' resource in the new Finder? I miss being able to use a utility like Layout to customize the Finder. On another note, a new evaluation version of QuicKeys 2 which works (sort of) under System 7.0 requires you to boost the Finder memory. This can only be done in one of two ways: boot with a System 6 disk (yuk) or copy a second Finder to your hard disk and change the memory allocation in the 'size' resource (for QuicKeys, that's about 80k extra), and then switch Finders. On a third note, the Sculley<-->$culley can be changed to Special<-->$pecial easily with Fedit or other utility. Henry M. Pita Internet: hmpqc@cunyvm.cuny.edu
