One of the people on our AppleTalk network has frequent problems printing to the LaserWriter from Microsoft Word 4.0 (System 6.0.5, SuperLaserSpool 2.02). After the print has completed (as far as the application is concerned), he gets a CANNOT OPEN PRINTER message. After this happens, at the least, he needs to restart before he is able to print normally; some of the time we have needed to replace the printer drivers before the problem clears up. Since this doesn't happen to everyone who prints using the same combination of hardware & software, I conclude that there must be something unique about his setup which is causing the problem, but I can't figure anything out beyond that. Any suggestions as to cause and cure?
