I upgraded the machine in question from system 6.0.4 to 6.0.7 and it's now much more responsive. There is still a couple of seconds when the page goes through the printer where there is a delay in responding to, e.g., mouse clicks, but the machine's much more livable while printing. -- Paul DuBois dubois@primate.wisc.edu
