[comp.sys.mac.system] When will 7.0 be available?

I should know the answer to this question.  After all, Apple was supposed
to announce when the customer release of System 7.0 would be availble at
the end of last year.

Guess I missed it, and any discussion there might have been about this
topic in this newsgroup.

So, would someone kindly email me (no reason to post, if everyone else
already knows the answer) the announced release date of 7.0 to the
general user community?
