When you press the OK button in the Print dialog box, hold down the Shift, 
the Control, and the Tab key.

It is not the default because the output quality is not quite as good, the 
print head does not line up perfectly on each pass. But it is a pretty good 
trade-off to get a significant increase in speed. And, then you can still use 
"BEST" for your finer quality output. Read into that last sentence the fact 
that this trick is for use with the "FASTER" mode.

One warning...once you do it once, it IS the default. The only way to change 
it back is to trash the ImageWriter driver in your System Folder, and to 
reload a fresh copy from your master disks.
