[comp.sys.mac.system] Superclock and Spy collision

cmiller@ecs.umass.edu (02/05/91)

I have found that Superclock (versions 3.9 and 3.1) and Spy (1.0b4)
collide. Most of the time things appear normal but the system crashes
when I change the Monitors settings. The desktop also occasionally leaves
traces of moved windows, etc. I am using a Mac IIcx with the Apple
High-res. video board, and System 6.0.3. Any insights or suggestions?

The Spy! init collides with a lot of things (like the sound manager). As
much as I loved that INIT, I just had to take it out because of so many
conflicts. Remove it from your system folder and you will notice your
machine crashes far less often!
