It appears that, according to Apple's current plans, "customer
introduction" of System 7.0 is currently scheduled for late April.

The following excerpt is from a 15 February 1991 "Dear Developer"
note from Toni Trujillo, the new SYSOP for AppleLink's Developer Bulletin
Boards:

"With the customer introduction of System 7.0 quickly approaching, we are busy
here at Apple preparing for all of the intro and marketing activities that
surround such an event. Many activities are being planned simultaneously with
the intent of creating market awareness for System 7.0 [...]

"Nearly all of these activities will include third party applications
which take unique advantage of the new capabilities of System 7.0 [...]
We are specifically trying to locate applications which will be ready to
demonstrate in a late April timeframe."
