I haven't read all of the System 7 messages posted to this group, so forgive me if I'm asking about something that's been covered already. I noticed that MacroMaker isn't included on the new beta disks. Has Apple dropped it? What are they going to use for a recorder for AppleScript (or AppleEvents?)? Or is that also dropped? Hope these questions aren't too mis-guided. Thanks in advance for your response. Have no idea re: MacroMaker. My experiences with it haven't been "pleasant." CE Software is developing a new (2.0.2) version of QuicKeys 2, which will work under System 7.0 (If they ever fix the Finder memory problem). As for AppleEvents, sure they're in 7.0 -- it's a whole architecture, and it's wonderful, and the possibilities for 3rd parties!!! :) Anyhow, to my knowledge, AppleScript didn't make it to 7.0's final feature list -- it'll be here in God knows when.
