Please help me. I have a Mac II with sys. 6.0.5, gobs of INITs, and a GCC PLPII, Freedom of Press, and DoveFax. I was in the Chooser switching back from Laserwriter to PLPII, and I hit the DoveFax by accident, and then the PLPII quickly afterwards. However, the DoveFax Page Setups warning dialog box came up after I hit the PLPII and the system hung. I restarted, and now, each time I go to the Chooser and hit one of the three resources, it bombs. If I just go to the Chooser and exit without changing anything, it bombs too. The username has changed to some garbage. I tried replacing the Chooser from my backups, with no different results. I replaced drivers. No help. What to do? What to do? I cannot print anything as long as things are this way. Does anyone have any ideas? I hesitate to ditch my current system folder, but I can do this if necessary. Please reply by email as this is the fastest way. Indicate if you are interested in the final solution and I will pass this on to you. -Josh Josh Hartmann | ___ ___ | ``the imagination is like an josh@athena.mit.edu | | | | | | engine that can work on many mit-eddie!mit-athena!josh | / | | | \ | different fuels: but it must BITNET: your gateway | / / \ / \ \ | be powered, and sex, properly DISCLAIMER: My parents | |___| |___| |___| | used, is a fuel of high already claimed me | MAINE HOCKEY! | potency'' -- PROPAGANDA -- Josh Hartmann | ___ ___ | ``the imagination is like an josh@athena.mit.edu | | | | | | engine that can work on many mit-eddie!mit-athena!josh | / | | | \ | different fuels: but it must
