This may have been discussed here before. Forgive me if it's already been discussed. I bought a 3rd party hard disk which has a icon I don't like after formatting. Is there a way to modify the icon? I look through all icons in desktop, System, finder, but cannot find the icon. Where is the place that store the icon of the hard disk? Also, is it possible to change that icon to color with ResEdit 2.1? Another similar question is on the icon of an application. I don't know why the icon changes to generic application icon. I tried to rebuild the desktop, but it didn't work. Anyone knows a way to deal with that? (Maybe the best way is to get another fresh copy from the original disk!)
