Yes, my Ambassador died just after the 90 day warrantee too. Ann Arbor
has some quality control problems. I recommend waiting 6-12 months for

We have had the same trouble with Ann Arbors's, except they seem
to blow just as the 90 day warrantee expires. 3 of our 8 have
gone so far. Repair has meant 2-week factory turnaround (which
is pretty good actually, but not near so good as non-failure).

We have about 7 Ambassadors here at Texas Instruments. The first
was acquired in December 1980. None have failed so far.
