[comp.sys.mac.system] Why does Quickeys 2 forget File Keys?

I have a bunch of Application launch Quickeys defined for the function keys on
 my extended keyboard. After restoring my disk from backups, I've discovered
 that none of them work any more! I've compressed the keysets, verifying file
 keys, and that works for the current boot, but as soon as I reboot, they are
 forgotten again! I've rebuilt the desktop, and it didn't help. 

 Quickeys 2.0.1, System 6.0.7, Desktop Manager.
