I am interested in setting up an Appleshare server with the following access criteria: There are 25 main "groups". I would like to limit the amount of space allocated to each group on the drive. This is easily done via partitioning, but can I partition one disk this much? Within each group, I would like to allow priviledged access to various folders within their "partition". I would like as many as 50 users per "group", but would settle for 10-15. I realize that users and groups are part of Appleshare. My main questions deals with its limits and the best way to approach this problem. System 7 is a valid solution if it can handle this many groups, users, and partitions. What is possible?
