Someone else mentioned that the new (6.1) Backgrounder/PrintMonitor/LaserWriter combination gives you a print to PostScript file option in it. Not only that, it lets you print to PostScript file while background printing is on, and it does it in the background... if you enter PrintMonitor while it is working, it tells you it is creating a PostScript file! Nice touch. It also does appear that the thus-saved PostScript is portable to other systems without the previous griefs. It also appears to download all fonts used, though, including such ubiquitous fonts as Times Roman. -- Wayne Folta (folta@cs.umd.edu 128.8.128.8)
