Like many I have spoken (emailed) with, I have been updating my system periodically as time passes. Now that we are on the verge of the grand reunification of all that is Macintosh (I refuse to even type that integer value expressed to one decimal place less than eight and greater than six for fear of great argument and turmoil :-)) My support manuals have become woefully out of date. Does anyone in net land have either the OFFICIAL WAY or the REALISTS WAY to aquiring updated manuals for system software? Both the user-type and the reference type. As always e-mail or netpostings (any productive email will be synopsis posted) Luigi Giasi luigi@rpi.edu

I believe this is both the OFFICIAL WAY and the REALISTS WAY (assuming you don't want to buy a new computer just to get new manuals :)): buy the latest system package from your local Apple dealer. The main reason for buying System software is to get the latest manuals. There have been rumors that this may be the only way to get System 7.0 so you may want to wait a month.
