[comp.sys.mac.system] 7.0b4 & FreeHand 2.02

Aldus FreeHand 2.02 seems to work just fine under 7.0b4, except for
when I go into the text editing dialog. The entire menubar is disabled
(greyed), so I can't change fonts, sizes, styles etc. within a text
block. I went back to 6.07 to make sure this didn't happen there, and
it doesn't -- the menubar is active while the dialog is up. Why does
this happen, and is it fixed in FH 3.0?? Thanks...

I didn't write the code, so I don't know why it happens -- but Freehand 3.0
is 7.0 compatible and seems to run fine. The only limitation I've found so
far is you can't turn TrueType fonts into outlines (or Type 3 fonts) -- only
Type 1. So much for converting everything to TT and doing away with ATM.
