Since I installed and used system 7, I have several questions to ask the net.

1) I have started installing the 'icXX' icon families into my existing applications, and adding to the BNDL/FREFs so that I can drag files over the icon to open a document. Unsetting the inited bit dosen't cause the finder to change the icon, it only works if I rebuild the desktop. What am I doing wrong?
2) Pasting in PICTs into the get info of a folder to make custom icons is nice, but I want to set them with resedit so that the entire icon family is correct. So I edit the Icon file in the folder. Again, how can I make the finder recognize the new icon?
