There are several freely distributable icn# colorizing inits around. Most users use these to get the finder to display their desktops with color icons (Color Finder, Icon Colorizer, and Sundesk). From what I understand, these inits work the same way: Trap the system call for drawing the icn#. Make a check of it's own library of icn#'s and if a color icon resource is present, has the computer draw it instead. System 7 will soon make these inits useless for most people, but I was wondering if anyone had written an init to colorize the other Black and White frontier: Hypercard. It seems the priniciple would be the same, except to trap the call to draw ICON s (not ICN# s). Is this possible? Has someone written one? Would it be possible to modify the code of an existing icn# colorizing init? William Moss
