One of our SE/30s here is behaving very strangely, when you select menus the area beneath them is blanked and when they are released the menubar itself turns black. Eventually, you just have to restart the Mac then screen redraws just start to go crazy (ie. the are not redrawing anything). This problem use to be linked to TOPS InBox (on this Mac), when you sent a message the above would start to happen. Now it seems to be happening within various applications. Any clues??? I have tried the obvious: replacing the system, TOPS InBox (since it seemed to initially be the culprit) and ran Disinfectant. Help! Thanks! -- Timothy A. Just one clue : I've noticed that when the Mac doesn't have enough memory (under Multifinder f.e.), it doesn't save the part of the screen under the unrolled menu. When you release it, the area covered by the menu is simply erased and it's the application job to redraw it. Try to increase the memory partition allowed to the application ? (in the Finder, select the ICON of the application, do `get info' -- in `File' menu --, and increase the memory size diplayed). >Help! Thanks! > >-- >Timothy A.
