From: MJOHNSON%ECLD@ECLA We are having trouble using a Digital Vt-100 terminal with our online catalog. The catalog is accessible through the campus computing system to which 4000 of a number of different kinds of terminals are hardwired. There is also dial-in access to the network, so we are learning fast about a lot of different terminals. A VT-100 can get on the network but our system does not recognize some (most) of the characters the VT-100 generates. It looks a lot like a parity problem, but the parity is set correctly (odd). To make it even more confusing, if we use a PC with XTALK emulating a VT-100, everything works fine. Any ideas?
