A few questions. 1) Is there a document available somewhere on Internet (like apple.com) which briefly summarizes the various revisions the Mac OS has gone through and major features added or changed. 2) I know an Apple document exists specifying an optimal operating system revision level for the older Macs (128, 512, 512KE). Is it available online and, if so, where? 3) I have heard that some of the commercial services (Compuserve?, Genie?) maintain archives which include older revisions of the OS. Are similar archives available on Internet? sumex-aim perhaps? 4) This is the dumb one. How do I determine the revision level of the older system I'm running on my 128? I haven't found it yet? It shouldn't be that difficult, should it? I've got FINDER 4.1 but I don't know what rev OS I'm running. This is embarrassing!
