[comp.sys.mac.system] Adding cmd-keys to 7.0 Finder menu's

iceman@sequent.com (Ian Evans) (05/18/91)

I have been reading in this group about how to add command-keys to
Finder menu's under 7.0. I have done this successfully (it's quite
easy once you know which byte to change). The problem is after adding
cmd-m to make alias (why didn't they do this in the first place?!?!?)
the File meun is now placed AFTER the special menu. This is what my
Finder menu looks like after the change:

		Apple Edit View Label Special File

Has anybody experienced this behavior??? How did this happen??? I'm
using ResEdit 2.1.
