The following happened when I tried to launch Font Cascade under 7.0: The application "Font Cascade" could not be opened, because an error of type -192 occurred. (1) Anyone know what this means? (2) Where can I find a list of System 7.0 error codes? (3) Font Cascade author, are you listening? BTW, Font Cascade has turned out to be very useful. --Tom -- Tom Ngo ngo@harvard.harvard.edu 617/495-1768 lab number, leave message

That's a "Resource Not Found" error. I've generally seen this with DAs that have references to non-existant owned resources. UNder 6.x, they're okay if the reference is never used, but under 7.0, you get the error when the system tries to copy it out of the suitcase for installations. For an application, it probably means it's trying to grab something out of the system file that doesn't exist any more. (at least, that's my guess) >(2) Where can I find a list of System 7.0 error codes? I use "System Errors DA 3.0". This isn't a 7.0 error code, by the way.
