I am experiencing an unusual problem with system 7.0, can anyone help?
System configuration:
Mac SE/30
8 MB RAM
80 MB Hard Disk
Supermac Spectrum 8/Series II Monitor interface
Apple 13 inch color monitor
System 7.0 release
no INITS
version 2.0 of Supermac video CDEV
Symptoms:
If I boot from floppy all is normal. However, if I boot from hard disk the help
and application menus that should be on the right hand side of the menu bar are
not there. Under certain applications they show up. (One that comes to mind is
Excel 3.0). If I turn on baloon help when they are visible and then return to
the finder... the baloon help for menubar items seems confused.... any
suggestions? Has anyone else observed this problem? It is driving me buggy...
