Here's another slippery bug (I couldn't repeat it): o made alias of Finder o copied to diskette o put "original" alias in Trash o emptied Trash, holding down OPTION - Trash didn't empty o tried emptying again (note the menu item was not disabled): Alert saying trash _is_ empty o tried moving Finder alias out of Trash onto Desktop, Alert: You cannot move "Finder alias" to the folder "Desktop" because it couldn't be found. ("it"? which of the 2?) o restarted - trash was empty Hardware: IIcx 8/40; a few extensions, only Finder 7.0 running. -- Philip Machanick philip@pescadero.stanford.edu
