-- Okay, I managed to print some stuff using LaserWriter 5.2 on my new system 7-equipped Mac II ci. I renamed the LaserWriter that came with the system to "LW 7" and then dropped the old drivers into the system folder, and created aliases with the same names in the Extensions subfolder (The last step may not have been necessary). It now works with Background Printing Off, an endurable solution until we update the other users. ===> Use at your own risk; not responsible for damages. >=== (sorry, just a temporary glitch...) With Background Printing on, I get all the way through page set-up and print dialog boxes, but then get a message that no printer has been selected. Any ideas on how to get around the message complaining that no printer has been selected? It doesn't appear to be a LaserWriter [5.2] message. =============================================================================== Ken Meltsner | meltsner@crd.ge.com (518) 387-6391 GE Research and Development Center | Fax: (518) 387-7495 P.O.
